WANG X HM

It's been almost impossible to avoid the huge buzz about the Wang & H&M collab which was released on Thursday, my instagram & twitter feed were bombarded with pictures of shopping bags and mirror selfies of their new outfits. However I can't help but think half of these people have bought pieces for the sake of it being by Alexander Wang at a cheaper price, rather than being because they actually love the clothes and need them in their lives. Personally, I'm not a fan of the collection, usually I like H&M collabs, but this one bored me. I hate how everything is smothered in the WANG logo, in all honesty it screams tacky to me. I think there were about 4 pieces I actually liked from the collection which I've featured below, other than those I really don't see the hype. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Wang and usually love all his work but this just seemed like a lazy collection. 

When I first saw the hat below, I honestly thought it was a joke, it is HIDEOUS. The cropped sweater isn't the worst thing I've seen in the world, but still it's one of those pieces that's going to be overworn by everyone because its cheap but the fact it has WANG on makes it somehow 'special'.
